Programs and schedules

 

The Levantine Institute of Tripoli offers different programs all year long (please check the courses calendar section).

All courses are organized according to the internationally recognized CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) official levels and regulations. To learn more about the levels, kindly download and read this document:

Levantine Immersion Program / Dialect

 

Combining notions of Classical Arabic and Levantine dialect, this course is tailored for anyone wishing to learn the language and interact with the Lebanese environment.  We consider that Arabic needs to be practiced on a daily basis to encourage and motivate the student to communicate, for this purpose a combination of Dialect and bases of Modern Standard Arabic is a must.

After hours: mostly tailored for professionals living in Tripoli.

Mondays and Wednesdays (6pm to 8.30pm) 5 hours a week (2 x 2.5 hours).

225 US Dollars for a term (20 hours). 2 terms (40 hours ) are needed to complete a CEFR official level.

Regular : this program targets international Arabic students of all levels.

Courses take place everyday from Monday to Thursday 12 hours a week (4 x 3 hours) plus 2 optional hours of debate with a teacher on Fridays.

This program gives students the opportunity to help the host community (please check Community engagement section).

450 US Dollars for a term (48 hours). 1 Regular term is needed to complete a CEFR official level .

Intensive : this program is made for students wishing to improve their Arabic language skills in a limited period of time.

Courses take place everyday, 5 hours a day from Monday to Thursday and 3 hours on Friday morning

This program will also give the opportunity to participate in the Community engagement programs helping disadvantaged children of Tripoli by providing 101 language tutorial (please check our Community engagement section).   

900 US Dollars per month for a term (92 hours) in 4 weeks. 23 hours a week. 1 intensive term is needed completes 2 CERF official level.

 

Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)

 

For students interested in strictly learning MSA, this program is the right one for you. The MSA program goes through all the steps of the learning process, all levels are accepted from complete beginners to C level students.

After hours: mostly tailored for professionals living in Tripoli.

Private lessons

Private lessons are available upon request in Levantine immersion, Modern Standard Arabic and Trabolsi programs all along the year and are charged 20 US dollars an hour.
